Froude Number

It sounds silly, but it's a real weather term as it's a number that can be used to determine if air will be able to flow over an obstacle like a mountain or be blocked.  Look halfway down in this link for more:  http://www-das.uwyo.edu/~geerts/cwx/notes/chap07/reynolds.html
