Title: Make An Understatement
Post by: Squizz on December 21, 2008, 12:33:06 PM
This game is very simple. The directions are just to post an understatement.
Here are some examples:

The Weather Channel is okay.
Billy Mays talks a little bit louder than a regular spokesperson.
Roland is a little bit obsessed with TV stations.

Now, you try.

I like my mouse a little bit.

How to change a sentence into an understatement:

The sentence is: Squizz loves The Weather Channel.
Change the sentence so that the main idea (Squizz likes TWC) is intact, but make it so it sounds like Squizz doesn't like TWC as much as he really does.

You'd get something like

Squizz thinks The Weather Channel is okay.
Squizz finds The Weather Channel a little bit entertaining.
Squizz has watched The Weather Channel a couple of times.

I agree with only parts of the understatement above me.
