Please make these changes. I hate to be a pest, and I am well aware the STAR team is busy with the HD Star and a backlog of other things. Just a few things that are still off and I would really appreciate seeing adjusted.

Hello friends of Action News! Just a note about 87.7FM: WPVI-TV does not operate a radio station. The 6abc signal people could hear on 87.7FM was a natural occurrence of Channel 6's analog broadcast frequency. With our migration to a digital transmission on June 12, this feature on the radio band is, unfortunately, no longer available.

TWC started going downhill in Nov 2008 when they layout OCM's and shows that Holiday Travel Bar again. However, on March 2, 2009, I quit TWC as a fan because of the new suckish Weather Center. I hate thier music passages. On June 22, 2009, the WORST change that ever happen is that YWT's (formely my all time favorite show before the HD relaunch) hosts changed to Stephanie and Mike. Our goal is to provide a wide choice of quality cable networks and local
broadcast channels reflecting the diverse programming interests of our
customers. In addition to requests from customers, the following
factors play a part in our decision making process:
 
· FCC regulations, such as requirements to carry all local broadcast
channels
· Requirement by local broadcasters to carry their affiliated cable
networks
· The number of access channels required by local government
· Customer satisfaction with networks carried in other systems
· Customer satisfaction with similar networks
· Importance of the network to our diverse community
· Level of interest across a percentage of our customer base
· Per-subscriber programming fees charged by the network versus the

I just had a pretty carzy TWC-related dream. The dream was such that I was watching TWC, and my local foreast changed. It was really strange. The local forecast was such that there was a Weatherscan-like L-bar wrapped around the local forecast, but instead of all the clutter in the Weatherscan L-bar, there was only the Current Conditions with the weather icon and the current temperature. The bottom of the screen remained the ad scroll. Also, playing during the local forecast, there was a Satellite Local Forecast-like segment, and it displayed metro maps and radars from major cutues around the country.

Then on live coverage, the L-bar replaced the IntelliStar/XL black bar, but the L-bar was reduced down during live coverage, and nothing displayed on the left side of the bar.

Strangely, I remember it having XL-like fonts, but I remember it had HiRAD, like as if it were some kind of hybrid STAR machine.

I was about to come here to TWC Classics and complain about it, then I woke up.

Sounds like an interesting article on this topic.  A lot of what all of us have said about the dyad and the triad sounds like it has been contradicted in this article.  I know a lot of us have stated that the dyad has to be "ready" to become a triad.  I can understand how a child brings people together; they have that one thing in common that might just spark their relationship.  On the other hand, I can see how a couple would not be able to recover their relationship after that child is grown up and out of the house.  I can see how the study found dissatisfaction is caused because the couple spends all their time and energy on the child and not on their relationship.  I am sure these couples feel ALL the time has to be spent with the baby.  Maybe once in a while the couples need to have a trusted person watch the child, and the couple can have time to themselves, and help make a "healthier" triad.
I would agree with Patty's last sentence; the dyad must be strong in order to stick together as a family, and essentially make a stronger triad.

Click Tools , and then click Work Offline.Click the Favorites Center button , click History, and then click the page you want to view.
