With the release of Internet Explorer 8 today....
« on: March 19, 2009, 05:06:16 PM »
I have installed Internet Explorer 8 today and I visited TWC Today with it. I give the IE8 seal of approval for the site! Loads perfectly

How much better is IE 8 over IE 7, Jesse, as you say TWCT loads perfectly on IE 8?

I don't know and I won't know. I refuse to use Internet Explorer unless I need to. I hate it with a passion. This is why I love Firefox :)

I prefer Firefox 3 as well, but I was just wondering as I do have IE 7 as a backup.  Thanks though!

Internet Explorer crashes so much on my computer...so I switched to Firefox and I am definetly satisfied.
But now I am seeing it that IE 8 is "better", I will give it a try.

It's the exact opposite here, I used Firefox for a short while but it crashed so much. I upgraded my IE browser and now it hardly crashes at all. I'm guessing the frequent Firefox crashes have to do with my PC's memory but overall firefox is more safe and secure than IE.

I've been using Firefox since I had a virus on my computer back in 2007 and I love it.

I don't use Firefox as I feel itis rather primitve looking. I have worked with IE7 for a long time now, and I believe I have had it since it came out. I downloaded IE8 sometime last year. Because of one add-on, HP print clips, the browser kept crashing to the point where I couldn't use it. I took it in to Staples, and they fixed the problem, telling me what I know about it now. I downgraded to IE7 not long after.

The only 2 browsers I use is Opera, and Mozilla.  When I go on eBay, I end up using that IE.

Firefox? Primitive looking?! There are themes...they help a lot for people who hate Firefox's look.

Me too. I'm a professional web developer and IE (in particular, IE6) is the biggest pain in the ass!
