Hmm every so often a new image is generated with updated conditions. It typically happens once an hour so.

You mean... the graphic actually updates based on what the weather is at the current time?  I had no idea that's what it was for!

What happened to the weather display tab? I want to add weather forecast graphics under my username like everyone else here has. I can't find the area where you put the weatherunderground info anymore.

Are you talking about the Weather Underground stickers in everyone's signatures?  Or are you talking about the current weather conditions shown to the left side of every post under every username?  If it's the first question, then you need to go to Weather Underground's website to make one.  If it's the second question, then you need to enter your location in your profile information and save it.  You don't have a location entered in your current profile right now.

No, not the signatures. I'm referring to the weather forecast thingy underneath your avatar.

You need to go to your profile settings, enter your location, and save it.  Yours is currently blank.

kk. That was simple but why was there no mention about this previously? It would be nice if there was a notice in the forum profile settings next to location: "Fill in if you want your conditions to be displayed", or somewhere along that line.

There was notification of this when the feature launched like two years ago IIRC

Martin made a whole topic about it on March 13, 2010 when it was introduced:

I wanted to update you on this.... The modification that makes the weather icons is very touchy. SMF has a default profile input for location that the modification uses. This means I cant edit it to say that it will be used for weather conditions. Perhaps in the future I can look into changing this
