No, his is an SMF For Free forum (the hosted edition of SMF). It has slightly different features than regular SMF.
SilverStar 8 Forums are like this one, and they embed YT Videos. ;)
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

thing is, if you enable the embed tags, that leaves the forums open for a possible attack. Keep this in mind.

Yeah I'm not sure I want to take that risk.

There are tons of Flash and other embed object exploits out there and anyone in the outside world can register and take malicious advantage. I've seen it happen in the past and it's not fun.

You Could Change the Background on the homepage of the site to the 3000 pic fading into a 4000 pic fading into an XL pic fading into an Intellistar pic, and change the logo.
That would be VERY annoying, not to mention unappealing. :doh2:

I have a very serious question. If TWC Today is going to start covering classic content, shouldn't the name TWC Today really be changed to something else? :dunno: Technically this isn't TWC Today if we're covering classic content as well.

It probably ought to be changed, but I've built up a good deal of name recognition over the past year and a half and I'd really hate to sacrifice that.  ;)

But isn't TWCTs MAIN emphasis on current TWC? Granted now the site is adding on "classic" content but that is a limited subject. Current TWC events are neverending and everchanging.  Which kinda brings up an interesting question to ponder. Does the classic era grow as time goes on or will it always be limited to the ~1982 - 1999 time period?

You are correct. Current TWC is still our main focus. As for the classic stuff, I think the time period for it will always remain the same.  B)

Hi there:

A friend of mine on Myspace suggested I contact TWCT about possibly adding my music to the Weather Channel.  It's "jazzy, non-commercial new age" and would be a perfect fit!  My debut CD, "IN A SILENT PLACE", featuring world renowned cellist, David Darling, has been winning many awards, including finalist in the "New Age" category of this year's Independent Music Awards.

More info can be found at:

Thanks!
