Sorry if I don't answer you...
« on: September 02, 2011, 01:55:52 PM »
A lot of people have been writing to me today, and I apologize for not being able to respond to each message.  For whatever reason, I'm having a miserable time trying to post messages.  It takes an average of 3-4 page reloads and a lot of waiting for me to be able to get a message posted to the board.  I'm having a lot of time-out errors, so this is why I haven't been able to write more than a very small number of responses.

I will run a few optimizations tonight to try and speed up the database a little more. I apologize for the problems you have been experiencing.

I can also confirm the site has acted a bit sluggish in the last week or so.  Usually I have to click a link twice to load a page.

I just thought it was a traffic pickup because of Irene.

Let me know when the speed problem is fixed. I, too, have been having problems with extremely slow loadings and was not sure if it was just the slow Wi-Fi here or the forums themselves.
