Really Minor Issue
« on: July 04, 2009, 02:12:16 PM »
the text lit up below seems to have been tampered with sometime after the alternating logos were implemented, i know it's a really, really minor issue...but it bothers me, why i have no clue...

it's also tolerable after a while, so if there isn't a fix that's fine.

I'm seeing this issue as well, and I've seen it for a while; before the alternating logo was implemented. Tried clearing my cache; doesn't help with the issue. Although, what I'm seeing is less minor than yours (see screenshot), but the text should be on one line; not multiple lines.

I'm using Firefox 3.5, BTW.

Could it be a Firefox issue? :dunno: I'm using IE, and everything looks fine for me.

EDIT: Yeah, it looks like a Firefox issue because I opened this same page in a Firefox browser, and the "total time logged in" was on two lines.

Same issue as Stephen. Firefox 3.0.

I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

Same thing happens for me now that I tested it out. SeaMonkey 1.1 (Gecko 1.8) doesn't have the issue, however.

glad i'm not the only one...though it seems like my view is more severe =/...

IE 6 makes the forum look really  :censored: up...

the logo isn't transparent, some buttons look weird, and there is a weird field in the info box i guess...

however; they're on one line. haha...browser issue, interesting.

IE 6 cannot do transparency in PNG images. That's not something I can fix nor will I. Upgrade your browser :P

Internet Explorer and Opera are the only browsers I am aware of that shows the time logged in on one line.

Firefox, Chrome, Netscape, Safari, all show the time logged in as two lines. I honestly have no problem with this. Doesnt bother me at all. This is still a beta build of SMF so perhaps its a bug they are aware of.

Anyone having other problems need to clear their cache and try again.  I have seen this problem before but was easily able to get rid of it.

For those using IE6.... well perhaps use a different browser or upgrade is all I can say. It is 3 years old now but I can say ive used IE6 in the past month or so and dont recall seeing any major problems. If a recent change to this forum was the cause of those problems, im not sure if anything will be done to accommodate such a legacy browser.

EDIT: Jesse beat me too it. I agree that with a browser that old I dont seem any point in working to support it.
