Title: Quick Question
Post by: Trevor on September 30, 2010, 06:09:37 PM
I have always wondered...at what point of posts do the member ranks increase?

For instance
Newbie - 0 posts
Junior - 50 posts
Full - 100 posts
Senior - 200 posts (I believe)

I have been on Senior for a while now, so I thought I would ask.

To reach Senior Member you need 250 posts. Just wanted to make that correction. ;)

The ranking is as follows:

Newbie - 0
Junior - 50
Full - 100
Senior - 250
Hero - 500
Ultimate - 1000

There are no current plans to change this.

Why have a ranking?
Encourages synergy! lol jk

I think it does help motivate newer members. its a standard part of forums and is nothing special

Why have a ranking?
Why not have a ranking?
It's really pointless.  It adds no value to the forum.

It's really pointless.  It adds no value to the forum.

But does it detract?  In my opinion, no.  In fact, the ratings give me an estimate as to how active a member is in the forum, and that's important for determining how seriously to take what I read.
