I noticed sometimes when I quote a post or PM I'm replying to, and if the post in the quote tags has an emoticon in it, the text I type below the quote doesn't show up unless I remove the emoticon. Also, whenever I try to use this emoticon in my post, it doesn't show up. It doesn't happen when I try to post any other emoticon. I know this forum version is a beta so I was expecting these type of issues, but I was letting you know so you could forward this to SMF. Thanks.

It seems that other members are now having this problem. I tried clearing my cache and that didn't work. It seems this problem only occurs to members and not admins or testers. Do you think you can post a report to Simple Machines about this?

It's showing up fine for me

Well, any other theories Mike?
What other member is this not working for? I refuse to report a bug I'm not even sure exists.

This problem occured when Gil sent me a PM awhile back.
This post (https://twctodayforums.com/forums/index.php/topic,4.msg45996.html#msg45996) had the problem as well, but it had since been edited (note the edit by line).

He added info to the post, hence the edit.  I never saw the problem in that post. You seem to be the only one seeing this problem.
