How do I remain login on the forums whenever I visit?
This has probably been asked before but it wasn't on the first page of this particular forum.
-
just hit the 'login' button, even though the credentials are empty. this works if you previously logged in.
-
1) Logout.
2) Instead of entering your information on the index page after you logout, click on the "Login" link above the boxes (I think it says something like Please Login or Register.) Click login, and below your username and password, check the box "Always stay logged in." Then enter your username and password and you're set!
Hope this helps. :)

I've been having this problem for the past few days... logging in and clicking "Always stay logged in" and then next time I visit I have to log in.

Did you all remember to keep your cookies for this site? If you don't, you'll be forced to log in again.
-
Clear all cookies and cache. Restart Browser. Click the login box. Check the "Always keep me logged in" option. You're good to go.

I've tried that a few times and it hasn't worked.

Actually, it doesn't work.
I've done a test. IE and Firefox does seem to keep me logged in without interruption. Chrome doesn't. I have to manually log myself in Chrome to get in here. The "Always keep me logged in" option doesn't really keep me logged in like I wanted to. Clearing cookies/cache doesn't do any good either.

I never have to log in

Safari keeps me logged in.

Alright, I tried something, but it requires you to log out, clear your cache, clear your cookies for the site, restart your browser, and relogin in that order. Let me know if you're still having troubles. If you are, then I'm stumped and you may have to wait for the next RC/final for SMF 2.0, sadly.
