Holiday Season 2009 TWC Today Forums logo contest submissions!

Well, I was thinking about holding a design contest for the TWC Today Forums logo for the Holidays. If Martin is ok with this, I would like to start the submissions today! I know it's only the 14th, but I want to have the final logo up for as long as possible, so here we go! I have attached all files that would be needed to do this round! Submissions will be accepted from Today (Saturday, November 14) through Wednesday the 25th. Voting would begin (in another voting thread that will be created) on the 26th through December 2nd and the winner's logo would go up when I get home from work the morning of the 3rd, and would remain up through the Holiday season (through Dec 26 at the earliest). So, here we go! Happy creating!

I don't see what the big deal is about having the logo up for an extra ten days or so. Starting it on the 3rd of the month sounds fine for me, since this will be a holiday logo and December is the holiday month.

I'm definetely going to submit something. It might not be for a little while though, as I have been rather busy lately.

I agree with Springy, around the 2nd week of December would be perfect since the Holiday Spirit seems to grow.

What is wrong with having the logo up for the whole month? It was like that last year. I don't see a problem with it.

For the first 2 weeks we could only replace the default TWCT logo and keep the current show logos rotating. After the 2 weeks the holiday logo will be up 24/7 through the month. If we dont do that, it will remain up through the holidays like last year

I can't download them either, Al.  I imagine Jesse will have to replace them, but it may be part of the ongoing attachments issue mentioned in the upgrade thread.

Yes, in fact, I'll PM Jesse right now about it. The attachments used to work and probably were messed up by accident.
