WUWA has been playing several instrumentals in the past few days (i.e. the instrumental version of Rock Steady and the end of CYHMK).. I hope they aren't phasing out vocal music :hmm:

I know this is so late to ask about WUWA music, but is narration on the IS used during vocal music for WUWA? :dunno: I remember TWC having a problem with this a few years ago...seems like it would be hard to have essentially two voices at the same time.

I am sure you all will be glued to Wake Up With Al this Thursday for Al's LIVE coverage from the Royal Wedding, and if not, I know you all are going to DVR it ;).

What a joke.

The Weather Channel is increasingly becoming like how MTV has become over the past decacde. MTV has nothing to do with music now, and TWC has very little to do with weather these days.  :hammer:
Hakeem: What's up, Jetsons!
Frank Mitchell: Jetsons?
Hakeem: Yeah, you and George got the same haircut.

So...the U.S. has just had this tremendous tornado outbreak that has claimed the lives of almost 300 and counting. And the extents of the damage are still unknown.

Now my question is...Will Al and TWC still be covering the non-weather related, royal wedding tomorrow on WUWA? My fear is a yes because tomorrow will be a relatively quiet day weather-wise, and no live reports can be done that early in the morning.

Does Al Roker even have a degree in meteorology? I've heard that he doesn't. How can Al be the "King of morning weather" if he doesn't even have a meteorology degree?
