Seriously?
It does not make sense to me at all to say "if someone died it's the weather channel's fault for not doing coverage." If someone died, it would have been more like because they were caught at the wrong place and couldn't get shelter and/or not letting themselves be informed about the situation.
While it would be nice to see coverage for a national audience about this situation, I would think and hope that most people in the area threatened would choose local media over the weather channel.
To say weather channel not doing coverage causes deaths is quite ludicrous, IMO.
