Sorry to say this, but I haven't been watching TWC lately. Anyways, does anyone know what happened to the old set prior to the HD launch?
-
They retired it on August 12th, as seen here:

As for what physically happened to it, we don't know.
-
Seems to me that as far as what physically happened to it, one would have to assume one of two things-either its being stored away somewhere, or else its six feet under in a landfill somewhere.
-
IIRC, the old set, has been/is being/will be converted to office space.
-
We're talking about the physical set components here...

Ah, I thought we were talking about the studio itself. Well, in that case the set pieces were likely either sold or recycled.

quick question....was First Outlook still using their separate set in 2007/ early 2008? I couldve sworn I saw them in there....maybe I'm confusing myself though...

Yes. It was there until I believe April 2008 where all programs (besides A&B and WV, they remained on their sets until June) started broadcasting from Studio 1A, aka the big desk.

March 30, 2008 was the last day they broadcasted in Studio 1B, including the First Outlook set (March 28 for the weekday shows). A&B's last day in their original set was May 30, and Weekend View's was June 8.
