I think they have to add up the damage first and make an estimate cost before that happens.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Gustav will not be retired. He was only Cat 2 at landfall, and for the most part damage was relatively minimal.

Looks like Storm Alert has finally ended. Anyone know when? I'd guess it happened at 4 AM ET when First Outlook started.

Yeah, that's right, but the Storm Alert music continued on the LF for another hour until the daytime playlist started. Why has control over the Storm Alert music on the LF gotten so sloppy this time around? Before it used to begin and end at the same time Storm Alert did. (with only minor errors here and there)
