Now Zap2It is showing WC with A&B as being a three-hour program until 10 PM ET, after which regular Weather Center runs for the entire night until First Outlook. There's no long-form at night shown whatsoever.

I'm still finding this hard to believe; we'll see if it changes over the next two weeks.

...and I think of PM Editon being an afternoon show as well...I'm still confused to why they would put PM Edition in the AM?

Well, First Outlook starts at 1am on the West Coast.
Thats ridiculously early. Think about Hawaii, they're 5 hours behind!
Your Weather Today starts at 2am there. lol, and First Outlook starts around 11pm the previous night.

And to answer anybodies question, Yes Hawaii does have the weather channel among some customers.

there is no possible time to support show names with the times they play without everyone being affected in some sort of way, yah know?

Hawaii has TWC?? I didn't know that.
And since I live in the west coast, I have seen FO a couple of times...when I stayed up so late until 3 AM at times.

Yeah, some of them got TWC last year I believe, either right before or right after they switched to HD.
And like another example...

sunrise weather starts at 430 ET but west coast time starts at 1:30...

by then the sun isn't rising for another 3 1/2 hours.  :bleh:

Heck, Sunrise Weather isn't on at sunrise for anyone. (except for the east coast near the summer solstice)

Hawaii has had TWC for a number of years. Dan once posted videos of Hawaii's 4000 from 1998(ish, sans radar, since at the time they didn't have one).

As I understand it, TWC in Hawaii went away during the early part of this decade, but they were brought back at the start of either 2007 or 2008 - can't remember which.

The doppler radar was used for government purposes in Hawaii, right? So, did they have a "Local Radar Unavailable" message in the 4000, or did it have a flavor that did not include the local radar?
