Here's what my FiOS Guide has for 3/2/08:

12:00 AM - WWCH
1:00 AM - PMEW
2:00 AM - PMEW
3:00 AM - PMEW
4:00 AM - FO
7:00 AM - YWT
10:00 AM - DP
2:00 PM - ICHT
2:30 PM - ICHT
3:00 PM - FFN
3:30 PM - FFN
4:00 PM - PME
7:00 PM - WC
10:00 PM - WC

*my guide has WC listed from 7-10 pm, and then from 10 pm-12:30 am
(it currently doesn't go beyond 12:30 am)

I can't believe EE is going away! :o

Let's celebrate (or mourn) the death of EE.

I dont understand why TWC is doing this. Could somebody fill me in as to how this is helpful for TWC overall? The current schedule made each show seem unique. To me I would think that would be a good thing since each time the average person would look at TWC it would seem like new or different programming.

My friend is not gonna like this, and me neither.
It's not helpful at all. Now my TV viewing at 4:00 my time isn't the same anymore.

I just emailed Jeff Meilcarz, I wanna make sure these changes are true, I'll see what happens.

They need to keep A&B and Evening Edition to make The Weather Channel worth while, or at least create a new evening show.

This is ridiculous, I'll let everyone know what he says, If he is even allowed to give out the information.

According to my contact - TWC employees haven't been notified of the specific changes yet, only that "something" is going to change.

i disagree, AB needs to go...EE was a well rated program...and clearly NBC is retarded. just throwing that out there.

Oh, well hopefully he'll give a response to this.

wikipedia says this:

February 2009 started with layoffs of four OCMs at the channel; midway through the month, it was discovered by members to a TWC fan forum and a leak on the TWC media kit that The Weather Channel was shaking up the schedule radically, including canceling Evening Edition, Abrams & Bettes: Beyond the Forecast, Forecast Earth, and Sunrise Weather, dramatically changing Weather Center and turning sections of it over to Abrams & Bettes, and replacing the overnight hour on weekends with one branded as PM Edition between February 21 and March 1. It had already been announced that Storm Stories was to return as part of a Tornado Week. The program changes are some of the most far-reaching since 2003, which saw the creation of programs such as Day Planner and Weekend Outlook.

Maybe A&B are taking over the 7-10pm block, and Paul, Jim, and Alex are taking over the 10pm-1am block... This also has me thinking.... Could there be a new slogan or a relaunch in the works too?  Again, this is PURE SPECULATION, NOT FACT!
