The Weather Channel has announced that it will add “Ice Pilots” to its new primetime lineup.
This docu-series follows what happens when a cargo and transport airline pairs adventurous pilots with aging warplanes in the harsh conditions of Canada’s Northwest Territories. Produced by Omni Film, the series is comprised of 6x 30-minute episodes and will premiere Monday, March 5, at 9 p.m. ET, repeating at 12 a.m. ET.

I'm losing track of all these new long-form shows being added.

That's alright, most of it is nothing but filler anyway. ;)

At this rate, TWC won't have any weather programming within a few years! :o

At this rate, I'm even more glad that I changed my mind of becoming a meteorologist with TWC and pursuing my career elsewhere that does do weather 24/7.

TWC should just change their name to The Weather Lifestyle Channel, i won't be surprised if they make new shows this summer :hmm:

Or better yet, do what Pelmorex (part owner of The Weather Network/MétéoMédia) did by creating a seperate channel devoted to any special programming by them and keep all TWC weather-related.. If they had to, just repeat segments at inactive hours like TWN did.

This show isn't a TWC original.. it actually premiered in Canada originally on the Canadian cable Network History Television.. http://www.icepilots.com/show.php (http://www.icepilots.com/show.php)

I'm sure this is a stretch, but doesn't track #10 from Lee Ritenour's CD 6 String Theory sound similar to the music they have been using in those promos for this show? (At least I hope this is the right show I'm thinking about idk. :dunno:)
