Next week apparently is the Green is Universal Week for TWC (and the NBC networks). I just saw an ad for some program airing on Sunday. I didn't catch the whole promo, but it did have the Green is Universal logo at the end.

This would be the best Green Week ever. Because Dr. Cullen and the whole Forecast Earth frenzy wont be there...or maybe?

When was the last green week?

When was the last green week?
The week of April 19

When was the last green week?
Are you going to tune in?

As little as possible. Not really a fan of these green weeks

I concur with Martin. I think they should just concentrate on getting forecasts right, secede from NBC and return to an all-weather network.
-
I can understand having a "Green Week" during the same week as Earth Day in April, but it doesn't really make a lot of sense to have one in November with everything dying off for winter and no day of any kind around to commemorate the environment.
-
The logo has already gone green on the HD LF. I'd expect the other instances of the logo to change at the top of the hour.

You are correct. Right at the start of Storm Stories, the logo changed to green.

Agreed, I never understood why they have two green weeks. One during the week of Earth Day is enough.
Stephen, what do you think about Green Week?

Exactly. One a year is good enough.....the week of Earth Day is a good time for it.
-
Yes, once a year is okay. Doing it multiple times is just overkill and a waste of time. I wonder how many people actually care. My mom certainly doesn't care, and shes the average TV viewer...
-
Green week is pointless, IMO. Green associates with Spring not Winter

If you don't like it, don't watch.

 It's THAT simple!! I mean, I can see why you all are frustrated, but continually complaining about it won't take it away. I just tune in to programs that show the weather, so I really do not have an opinion on Green Week. However, I am not a fan of the green logo

I have to agree, but I felt like slapping. :bleh:
Anyways, I LOVE the color green, but the logo is too bright for me.

Wasn't as bad as I thought but I am glad its over
