Title: Favorite Local On The 8's opener

For me my favorite is The Smooth Jazz, the Weather Channel store, Epic Conditions 1-3, Weather Ventures, and the Aug 2005 relaunch one

I also like the LF openers used from 1996-1998 (the WeatherScope era).

My favorite Lf opener of all time is the one used during the "Weather You Can Always Turn To" period. The one used in 1995 (a seemingly little known one), and the one used from 1996-1998 are also close favorites.

I agree!  Deffinitely my favorites.  I also liked the Evening Edition local forecast opener from 2001-2003.

I liked that opener too. It was actually introduced in 2002. Prior to that, Evening Edition used the domestic local forecast opener with the Weather Center graphics.

I also liked the 2001-2003 weekend:now opener.

My favorite local on the 8s opener is the one when the man walk thru a thunderstorm in the beach and the newer Abrams & Bettes opener from 2007.

Some of them are still here. Just look at the Segment Openers page of the site (its within the video section).

They were deleted not form the site, but from Matt's server, and we are not certain how that came to be.

I like the "Live By It" Chimes LOT8s Intro. :cool3:

I also enjoy the "Bringing Weather To Life" beach intros.
