have a schedule or an idea of when of some of the other shows will be going to hd? Also any word yet on the new weatherstar hd when that will be implemented?
-
We know Abrams and Bettes will be in HD in two weeks.
-
any more info?
-
Weekend View will be going HD on July 12th.
-
I also heard from a source that weatherstar hd will be launched in late july, any truth to this?
-
Care to reveal the source? We're familiar with a great many sources of info and can probably confirm or deny that rumor based solely on the source.
-
I heard it from wikipedia and since that site has no reputation it propably is not true. :(

It's possible that could be correct, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too much. YOu never know who put that there.
-
if anyone has the weather channel hd on cable could you please capture evening edition or ywt and the local forecast I would like to see it.
-
I wouldn't rule that out, but yes, I wouldn't rely on Wikipedia to be your breaking news source.
As far as this issue itself about a new WeatherSTAR, I do wonder if one that's to be a local HD one would coincide with an SD update. But we'll see.
Tyler had pointed out that there wouldn't be a new SD STAR around the TWC HD launch anyway.
-
He wants to deploy the new STAR units next year. “There may be some relevant systems that launch before we complete the manufacture of the STAR unit,” he says, “but we want that time frame to be really short.”
From the bottom of http://www.broadcastingcable.com/article/CA6417902.html?display=Special+Report
Is he talking 2009?
-
The article was written 2/19/2007, so that would mean this year.

No Victor, he means 2/19/07. Look at the page title of that article. ;)

Sorry, my head must be in a fog today. I had a bad time in school today so please forgive me.

Wow, I missed the 2007 part as well. That sounded like a lot of foresight for 2007.
