And now they're showing those simple "Now, from The Weather Channel, here's your Local on the 8's" bumpers from the August 2005 relaunch.
I've seen three so far. The nighttime one where a man walks out of a thunderstorm and into sun, the one where the woman walks out of a nice spring day and through a snowstorm, and the sunset one where a man walks through a storm.
I've gotten quite tired of those "When Weather Changed History" openers, which have been running since mid-November. Because of this, there was no "Happy Holidays" bumper this past Christmas. WWCH is one of TWC's most popular series ever. I think all this promoting played a role in that, too.
Enjoy the classic bumpers while you still can!

i'm glad theyre back

Well, those classic LF openers didn't last long :(
Those annoying WWCH bumpers are back.
It was fun while it lasted.

Why do they keep showing the WWCH openers? If ratings for that show are high, there's no need to keep showing them.
-
For those noticing...they will not be airing an episode tonight. The teasers today are for tomorrow at 8.

Whats the point of advertising it so many friggin times!
So that people get so annoyed, that they never watch the station again.
