I have such a great feeling of nostalgia from when I started watching The Weather Channel in the late 1980s, during the "You need us for everything you do" era. Those were good days.

This was before I was even 10 years old... so I guess my reaction to reading my first-ever tornado watch scroll up the screen wasn't TOO unexpected. Basically, I was scared to death.

Oh, those were good days, and the quality of The Weather Channel back then was first-rate.

Marney Stanier talking about ceiling fans, Jeannetta Jones talking about different cheeses you can serve, there was another PSA I enjoyed watching, but can't remember... And those Trane commercials airing every 5 minutes...
Yeah, those were the days!
