I found an article back in January that between January thru March 9, they want to own the whole The Weather Channel, so I don't know what the Earth is going on.

In all my years of watching TWC, I've never heard of a storm referred to that way simply because it was hitting the big cities.

You're all proving my point.   TWC is trying to hype up this storm through some sly wording.  Just about every coastal snowstorm that impacts the Mid-Atlantic and the Northeast hits some part of the "Megalopolis".

Interesting how in her tweet she says "TWC(NBC( is changing the schedules of many of us "oldtimers"."....hmm, could NBC be more involved than I previously thought, or could that just be Heather saying that TWC is now owned by NBC?

They're moving to mornings starting Monday. We don't know what show their moving to, so we're going to have to wait until Monday to find out.

Grr they took the good shows out!

Hopefully the TVG screwed up.

unfortunately I think it is the TWC page that is screwed up, like you said, I have a feeling they didn't update it. I don't like it either, EE and A&B were great shows...even if A&B was getting poor ratings why make such  a drastic change?

i kind of agree...I like the graphics and music from 2005-2008, but the presentation just began to get butchered ....2000-2005 ruled...

I had to up the brightness in order to take this shot.

That is pretty odd, but I'm betting its to create a more dramatic setting, compared to the one during Hurricane Season...

its probably an error. For me today, it says "Weather Center" Vivian Brown...etc.., even though Betty and Sam usually host..It's probably just an error in the program that assigns the show names and descriptions in the guides...they still havent removed Marshall from my "Your Weather Today" guide bar lol

So, we'll have a crapload of long-form on weekends but almost none on weekdays. It's kind of a trade-off I guess. :\

it's definetely a trade off...but I almost never watch TWC on the weekends so it doesnt really effect me as much as some others...still, I believe in the less long-form the better!

Woah, for this Tetiana Anderson report, they're got a green screen over the LCD screen in the side room, and they're keying in Tetiana's video while we see a shot from behind the anchor desk as the anchors look toward the side room.

did anyone manage to get a video of it? My VCR finally died and didn't get it
