To be fair (and I'm not defending Roker in any way here), there have been plenty of personalities in TWC's past who didn't have meteorology degrees.

Thats certainly true. Its dissapointing though they are going to show him as someone who gets good ratings rather than someone who does the weather well

and in the process destroying a very key hour of a very key show for the weekday lineup

Wow, the EAS has been activated. Doppler radar indicates a Tornado about 20 miles to my north. The alarms at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Harford County are apparently sounding. Scary stuff. 

EDIT: Now a Tornado Warning for Baltimore County. A tornado has been indicated jsut up the road from me!!

banned for butting into our argument....and Zach, I may not live in the area, but I DO know that when YOU YOURSELF say that the station hasn't gone HD yet, the video is not of HD quality...real easy to figure out   Oh it may be HD resolution, but it aint HD quality...you can't make an SD video HD just be putting it in a larger resolution after it's been recorded

Banned because I put it through Windows Movie Maker, and I rendered it as 720p HD.

Banned because it's natvie 4:3, which makes me doubt its actually HD

banned because it's not[/u][/b] HD....even if it's recorded in 16:9, if the Station hasn't gone HD yet, all you are getting is a SD picture  its obvious

I abso-frigging-lutley love TWC these days!!! And who could'nt!? A big loud black guy is gonna yell at you from a noisy square in the early morninng hours with a loud mouth in the studio, and then you have the loudest OCM pair hosting the morning show!!! And THEN you have Heather, one of the best OCMS, on the lower rated DP slot and weekends!!!! THANK YOU NBC! ALL HAIL NBC  I LOVE YOU!!!

Jen is excited for the baby, and Kevin's the father, so he is just as excited, because it's his first kid.  Jeff's saying, wtf?

TODAY IS MY LAST DAY!!!! 

Plus...I just sold my books to the bookstore, two of them couldnt get bought back because of VERY MINOR DAMAGE (little scribbling) <--wtf? So, instead of getting about $150 back I got $80. But I'm still happy tho, at least I got SOME money back.

I'm also thinking of attending a class just for the heck of it. Besides softball, I need to do something else this summer...hmm...a month vacation to swineflulandia???
