soooo.... is Weekend View going to permanently going to use the new YWT lower thirds or is it a fluke? Speaking of which, Carl is in for Betty today, so could we see Alex Wallace on Weekend Now?

they may be transitioning into using the new lowerthird for every show (with it's own identity [colors/logo]), usually lowerthird errors such as the one above are fixed within the the next hour. idk it's what i think, probably won't happen.

You may be on to something there...the new Lower 3rds seem more "NBC-esque" compared to the "old" ones from the HD relaunch

I didn't realize that; is it gone permanently, and if so, what show replaced it? Sorry guys, I am so lost with TWC right now.

Yes, WO is gone forever; WV now runs from 5 to 11 ET.

And I will remain strong with my opinion that that is too much Weekend View, especially when Weekend View is not the show it was intended to be anymore

I'm still not convinced it's because they want to trash the music packages they paid a ton of money for... Weather Center and Evening Edition 2008 was NBC and new management's decision, not TWC's, so....
