Located & listened to song samples from the CD. None of the artists except for Vince Guaraldi have ever played on the locals I'm aware of. What a bummer  . Wonder why they decided to use unfamiliar tunes? If these are the selections we'll be hearing this Xmas, well ... we won't go there.

Brief snow flurries early this PM. This is our 2nd time; 1st was during the OCT 28th nor'easter when there was snow mixed with rain. Thunder accompanied the mixture too!

Storm system yesterday produced 1.07" of rain here; storm total: 1.19". Line of showers & storms moved through my location with 40+ mph winds. A tornado watch had been in effect for the area during the afternoon and a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for eastern Berks county in SE PA. High yesterday 68. Much colder this week - temps expected to be in the 30s & 40s.

Are the tunes named the actual song titles? All of his music (that I know of) currently used on Weatherscan are on his CD set which did not come with a song listing.

TWC's original concept was and still should be round the clock weather coverage. There are too many long form programs now that are cutting into coverage time, especially on weekends. This is most annoying when storms are affecting your given area and you have to wait through the duration of the program(s). I do enjoy some of them but it has gotten excessive. It's just a thought but maybe TWC could create another separate Channel (like WeatherScan) where programs, specials or whatever would run 24 hours per day.

I don't ever remember seeing alternate programming on TWC in my location going back to the mid 80s. AFAIK, it was always all weather 24-7.
