Amy Poehler's last show on Saturday Night Live was tonight :(
:(  How did I know this was going to happen.  She just had a baby, so it always went through my mind.  Best of luck to Amy in what she does, and to her new family.

I wonder who the new anchor will be?

I can always remember Siedel popping up on NBC even before the partnership.

On TWC yesterday, Vivan said something like "Everyone knows when your there it can't be good".  Mike said something along the lines of "Oh, I am starting to become our good friend Jim Cantore"..or something like that

:P  Just thought that was interesting.

Blagojevich for future references ;)

Illinois is not the most corrupted, believe it or not.  4 other states ranks above us.  I think Louisiana is the most corrupt, if memory from the 6 o'clock news serves me correct :P

Funny you should mention elderlies and the computer.  On the morning radio show I listen to everday on my way to school, they were talking about old people and the radio.

Anyways, I would say ~ 10% also.

 <That's all I have to say.

I've never liked the guy.  He's got a 4% approval rating.  If I were him, I'd probably step down, and leave state

Why do I even bother getting my hopes up for a snow storm.  Today, they are calling for the system to mainly be rain/frzng rain/sleet, with 1-3" of snow   uggh.  Hopefully the system will move a *little* further south to get a *little* more snow.  Now all that ice is gonna turn to ice and the roads will be a mess.  uggh.  Mother Nature is a you know what ;)

Looks like the Farmers Almanac is pretty accurate this season.  Our 3rd round of Snow is coming Monday night-Wednesday Morning, this time with ICE!  Uggh.  I'd rather see 10 inches of snow, than a 1/2" of ice, anyday.

Snow is always better than ice and less dangerous to be in until you live in the south then it's all bad to drivers and pedestrians
It's bad to drivers and pedestrians anywhere you look, especially in the south.  Here in Illinois, it seems everyone's from the south when it ices...or snows for that matter.

Yeah I've lost 3 dogs as well...and it sucks.  They are definitely part of the family.  My grandma had to put her stray cat down 3 days before my dog..so it's been hard.  My grandma lost all three of her cats within a month, 2 of them within 2 days!  I felt so bad for her. (This was a couple years back)

Mike- I remember hearing about your cat.  But 17-18 years is a long time.  That shows that you and your family took great care.

I had a horrible day.  I was running late this morning, woke up with a headache, got a D on my math test, cut my hand on my locker, came home and learned that my dog of 14 years had to be put to sleep today :(  Loosing an animal is so hard, espeically for my mom.

Whoever it is, I LOVE HIM!!!!  :rofl2: :P

That's great news though :D  I can actually feel confortable with driving somewhere, and spending money

You can't file a lawsuit against a company for firing you, unless of course it was a valid reason like racial or sexual discrimination.  It's the economy, there is nothing you can do about it.

Luckily, my job is safe in tact...for now.  More people are getting fast food rather than something fancy (I assume..).  My parents, however, got hours cut at their job.  But, my dad has a backup part time job that can turn into full time easliy

Then you must be naturally gifted or talented. If you text, it's not really a problem. But when you're texting the ENTIRE period and daily, then your attention gets shifted from the lesson.
Right.  But you don't text, so why are you so worried about it?
