On the 10:00 segment of Weather Center, did Nicole just cussed on air? I heard her saying "Chief Bad Ass". I was like "whaaaaaat???" Or maybe I am hearing things...

Ok, not going to lie, I could of swore I heard that too... but I just figured she was saying something else.

Very interesting. I have been extremely busy this past week, and rarely have had time for TWC (is that a good thing? )  I knew the tropics were getting hot, but I had no idea they were this active   This is exciting!

I noticed there is a redish glow on the set today. Where is that coming from?

Heather's shirt  ...um but it looks like it may be part of the studio is lit up red for what's typically used in storm alert. 

oh and do Heather and Carl match daily like how it used to be with Marshall? I never paid attention until I saw that picture...

Haha, That is exactly what I was thinking, that maybe it was a reflection of Heather's shirt. It could also be maybe a "test" of storm alert?  Who knows.

off topic:  Anytime anyone gets a pic of heather, she's always got a serious, or "seductive(ish)" look to her face

Yeah I started mine earlier last week (to the people who are leaving)  Luckiliy, my best friend is opting to stay here for a couple years, like myself, so that's nice.  But a lot of close friends are leaving .  And yes, it is sad.  But I am sure it'd be more sad if I was leaving too.  It must be mixed emotions, Al.  I am sure you are excited and nervous abotu college, sad about leaving friends and family.

Sorry, as this is a little off topic, but I would pronounce "Ana" as "on-uh".  Everyone I know who spell it like that say it like that.  I've always known "ann-uh" as Anna.  So I guess it just depends on the person/ whoever named the storm

One of you said it doesn't matter if it is hot, because the school day is spent 90% in school.  THAT's WORSE!  A lot of schools do NOT have any air conditioning.  There have been times where the teachers would have us sit on the floor, with fans on and lights off.  It is miserable, and hard to learn.  So, I would definitely have enjoyed starting school after Labor Day.  But, I never minded starting in mid-late August, because as mentioned, it gets out out even earlier.

Either way, you are going to deal with heat, because if you go in Early September, you'll have to stay into June.

A Dunkin' Donuts was changed to Long John Silvers.  LJS just closed last week.

I am not a fan of this country week either.  But I am liking the idea of having "genre weeks" (I guess that's what I will call it ).  It's interesting.
