Mornin' all!

I actually passed out again last night as I always do every Friday so this is why I am up so early. :bleh:
Did the week catch up with you?  ha.  Happens to me...usually on Sunday's though.
--
I agree with you, Mike.  NYC would definitely not be a good place for the Olympics.

I was suppose to find out on Thursday if I got the job at the local ABC station here.  Thursday came and went, and I did not recieve a call or eMail, which got me worried.  So, I eMailed the man in charge of it, and he eMailed me back and said he got caught up with stuff, and has not gotten the chance to "put in recommendations", and he thanked me for keeping in touch.  Keeping my fingers crossed!

I wounder if the narration on the IntelliSTAR is disabled durring the program? Why put vocal music on TWC anyway?
Nope.  They still use the narration.  I actually do not mind the vocals during the local forecast.  Yesterday I actually watched WUWA, and I heard some songs I havn't heard in years!

The vocals are just like the regular local forecast music, it gets quieter when the narration is taking place.

Well, basically the show is going to stay the same, just without Jon, which to me it seems that is what it is now.  The whole situation is just plain sad.
----
Speaking of TLC reality shows... I was watching "17 kids and Counting" (now 18 kids and counting), and the episode I saw is where the oldest child proposed to his girlfriend.  What I found bizzare, is that neither of them have kissed another person. They both wanted to save their first kiss for their wedding date. Weird, huh?  I can understand now having sex before marriage, but kissing?  Idk.  BTW- The Duggars are expecting a 19th child..crazy.

"Jon and Kate Plus 8" is no more.  Starting the 1st or the 15th (I can't remember the exact date) of November, the show will now be renamed "Kate Plus 8", which will focus on a single mother raising 8 kids.  TLC also mentioned that they have plans for Kate in 2010.  Wonderful.

I got stung by a bee twice yesterday.  It hurt like a  :censored:.  I was at work pulling weeds (gosh I LOVE my job  ), and I must have aggravated a bee's nest or something, a bee stung me.  So I ran inside the store, and was telling my aunt (my boss) about it, and she said put mud on it.  I had my keys in my right and and threw them across the room.  I had got stung AGAIN by (I assume) the same bee on my hand.  It hurt.  (the first one was on my neck).  I had never been stung before, and so I really didn't know if I was alergic.  I am happy to report I am not alergic to bees :P :D

after a long night of fun, I now have to spend my Sunday working on my mountain of homework (and it is 70 degrees with not a cloud in the sky :( )

Fall is my favorite season.  I usually do not get sick, maybe once during winter, but I mostly am ill during the spring months.
----
My life just got SO much easier (for the near future..as in tonight).  So, I am sitting here doing Geography homework (6 1/2 pages, mind you) and I have to name the Country, it's capital, and how many Kilometers of the city is on the coastline.  I struggle, and it takes me about 15 minutes just for the country and capital.  So I move to the next worksheet, and we have to locate the island in the Lesser Antilles (a lot of small islands) I have a headache from looking so close at the book.  At this point, I begin to be very frustrated, so I go to the next worksheet, and it says to list all of the mexican states  in ALPHABETICAL order on the table below (WHAT TABLE?!?!) Stupid me forgot to print out the table.  So, I decide to head to the course website to print out the table, and I notice that I have an eMail from my geography professor.  I figured it had something to do with this exam we took Tuesday.  Instead, it was an eMail saying class is cancelled for tomorrow!!  :D  :worship:   This makes me so happy because A) I dont have Geog til Tues B.) I have a ton more homework, and C)- I have to work.

Just thought you all would enjoy my story of how my afternoon WAS going. :P...maybe not.  oh well.
Have a great evening, Everyone!!

Sorry-- but has anyone tried the Pumpkin Spice coffee from Starbucks, I am thinking of trying it, but don't want to waste my money on it.  I hear it's pretty good.

I am done now. :)

I am not a fan of the WUWA Local on the 8's opener with the girl answering the guys statements.  It kind of annoys me :hmm:

Mike Seidel usually does the Sunday football weather.  I sure do hope they make this a regular gig for Adam, as in field reporting.  I think he would make a great field reporter

Uggh..don't even want to think about midterms right now.  I just started my first paper in my comp101 class tonight, and it reaks of bad :P, but it'll turn out good.  I have my first Geography exam on Tuesday, and I am SOO nervous about it. There is a lot of material to read over, and I have to memorize the map of  Europe..yikes.  I'm lovin college though :D  (minus the tests)

Hope you feel better, Al.  I am not really that worried about the flu.  But, just to be on the safe side, I do carry around hand santizer and wash my hands constantly.  I definitely will not get a flu shot
