Jimmy Kimmel RIPPED Jay Leno on Leno's show last night.  Hilarious.

I don't care for Jimmy Fallon, either.

Gotta HATE NBC!!

I am getting pretty aggrivated that they are moving Jay back to 10:35 .  Jay had his time, it is now time for Conan.  I do applaud Conan for his decision to leave the network, though.

Hmm.. I don't know why, but last night I had a dream that Stephanie Abrams was giving her last forecast on Your Weather Today (as in..either leaving TWC, or moving to a new show..) .   Is that weird?  haha

I'm probably going to be the only one left in this forum that has never tried Twitter.  I don't think that I'm missing out as having a 140-character limit is a problem for me. :P
I signed up for twitter, and I think I updated like 3 or 4 times, and I got bored with it.  I am good with facebook

It makes absolutely NO sense to me.  A few years ago they announced Leno will be retiring, and he does not even do that.  If I were Conan, I'd be moving to another network.  Conan has worked really hard to get where he is today.  Jay Leno has already had a great career.  He should have kept the same formatting of his show, because he would likely have more ratings.

Chris Warren is a great field reporter.  He seems to bring a lot of fun with his live shots.

Breaking news on CNN: NY Times: NBC plans to move leno back to Late night but as a 30 min slot from 11:35pm - 12:05am. And Conan would be shortened from 12:05 to 1am with these changes taking affect most likely after the Winter Olympics.
I bet Jay is happy (he did not even want to leave), and I bet Conan is pissed.

I have some "TV news" of my own.  I dont know if I had mentioned this in the past, but since September of 2009, I have been trying to "get my foot in the door" with the news business.  I applied for a job, and 2 internships.  I was told I could not do the internship because my college does not do broadcasting.  A few hours ago I received an email from the sports director at a local tv station, saying he would allow me to do the internship.  So, tomorrow night I am helping out with the friday night basketball show for the NBC afilliate in my market.  I am happy, but I feel bad because I am a regular viewer of their competition ABC afilliate..but who cares.  I FINALLY have my foot in :D.

Could be the old studio, with a new backdrop intact...
That is my thought as well.  Wherever this is, I sure do like the backdrop

I am just the oposite, Ana.  I am about to complete my last couple days of the 12 day "minimester" of speech.  I am about to give a speech on global warming.  After practicing it just moments ago, 3 times, i am going to ROCK this speech. I can't wait.  AND..it is suppose to snow tomorrow, which is an awesome example of misconceptions of global warming.  My professor, for some reason, thinks school will be cancelled tomorrow, but I highly doubt it will.

Hope all is well with everyone!

Here is something interesting that a friend of mine posted on facebook.

Will you say "Twenty Ten" or "Two Thousand Ten"?

For me, I can see me starting out saying Two Thousand Ten, but I think I will pretty much go with Twenty Ten

What about you?

Glad to hear you and your family are alright, Ana.  I find earthquakes very interesting.  I have only been in one.  It was one that was reported down in southern Illinois.  It had virtually no damage here, just kind of rattled the house.  Then a couple aftershocks happened when I was at school...it as odd.

Hope you all have a GREAT New Years Eve if you celbrate it!

Hey all--- hope you all had a great holiday!

As for my year... I've had kind of a roller-coaster of a year..mainly a good roller-coaster, and I am VERY excited for what 2010 has the potential to bring :D.

To those struggling with people in school:  DON'T TAKE THEIR SH*T.  There is no reason someone has to treat you poorly.  I frown upon people who do that.  They need to find a new hobby, other than, obviously, making other lives miserable.  I maks me so mad when people are hurting from other people being absolutley rude to others.  I want to say ignor them, but that is sometimes hard to do. I would not go as far as "telling on them", because in life, you have to solve your own problems, not someone else (unless it is a SERIOUS situation..to where the police have to get involved).  I am sorry some of you have been bullied :(.  At least you kind of have an outlet here...

I have been EXTREMELY busy as of late, so i have NONE of my christmas shopping done (but of course, I have time to be online :P ).  With the last of my finals tomorrow, and the day off from work... I will hopefully get most if not all of the shopping done.  (I HATE SHOPPING!!)
