Okay, I am confused.  What is up with the logo at the top of the screen saying "A Storm is Coming..be ready 3.3.10"?  Am I missing something?
Time is of the essence, my friend. You will see. :)
Hmm interesting.

Speaking of Todd Santos.  This past weekend, I was watching TWC, and he was on.  Long story short, I had to change the channel (which is what we ALL should do instead of complain ;).. or if you complain, state you did indeed change the channel :P).  Anyways, the constant "uh" makes me think he is not confidant in what he is saying, which makes me want to change the channel.  I know I have complained about this before, but seriously, doesn't somebody at TWC notice this?  :dunno:
I am sure Todd would be a great On Camera Meteorologist, if he uh didn't say "uh" all of the time..  :hmm:

For all of you Mid-Atlantic(ers?)--
How do you guys feel about the snow on the way?

It is amazing how much snow has fallen out there!  My area is expecting a 6-10 inch snow, and people are complaining left and right.  What I will tell them---it could be worse, MUCH MUCH worse..just look at the Mid-Atlantic.

I have the new Facebook layout as well. I like it, it's just going to take a bit of time to get used to it.
Just saw this on the news.  I have not received the new layout yet.  But, I think I will get used to it quickly, just like the 152 other times it has changed.  They did it to celebrate Facebook's 6th birthday...

Thanks everyone.  I will be in production, running cameras, teleprompters, and writing stories online.

It is so great because this is the station I have grown up watching, and now I get to be a part of the team

In Illinois, PE is required each semester you attend, in order to graduate.  Health is put in place of PE during 10th grade.

So basically it is required for all of your HS career?
Correct.

Once again, you people are thinking like fans and not the average viewer. TWC wouldn't be doing these things if people weren't watching. Get over yourselves already and think once and awhile.
 Thank You.

I would really like to see how ratings are after the NBC takeover.  I assume they are good, or they would have already changed some things.  But, I see it as a one-stop channel for the average viewer.  You get your weather several times throughout the hour, and you get your update of all kinds of news a couple times throughout the hour.

Do I agree with it?  Not exactly.  Am I going to sit here and contiue to complain and groan everytime TWC has a news update on there, No.  There is nothing that we can do.  If you want to do something, then simply don't watch.  If you aren't happy with what you are watching, just switch the channel   There are many many more channels for you to choose from.

As for the Hope for Haiti Now Telethon.... kudos to The Weather Channel for showing it.  I can't see why any of you would even complain about them showing it.  Have a heart, seriously.  Haiti, as mentioned before on this forum, is the poorest (or one of the poorest) country in the western hemisphere.  They seriously need this money.  The more viewers that this telethon can get, the more money that will be raised.

NBC paying out 45million. Tomorrow is Conan's last show
BOO!!

NBC is so stupid, I hope this turns around and bites them in the ass.  I hope Conan can go to a network who values their employees, and does not screw them over.  It really makes me wonder whether or not Jay Leno can get all of his viewers back.  I am not going to say I won't watch Jay.  I like Jay.  I just thank its complete BS that he said he would retire in 2009, back in 2004, HANDED the show over to Conan, and is now going back because nobody watches him at 10/9c.  Conan's show, according to someone at NBC, was a "complete failure".  Complete?  Isn't that a little extreme.  Sure, it was not as popular as Leno, and Dave did beat him, but only after Dave's controversy.  Now, Conan has the highest ratings he has ever had because of the controversy.

NBC wasted $500 million on Conan's studio.  How stupid.  They wasted money on Jay's set.  Maybe Jay will keep the same set, but taking the random "10"s off the set.  Still..BIG waste of money, money that NBC probably doesn't have much of because they don't know how to run a successful network (aside from news, of course..).

I will definitely be watching tonight.  While Conan may not have been the funniest of them all, I still liked his humor.  I feel everyone has a different type of humor, and unfortunately, Conan's was not liked by many.  Best of luck to him.  We have NOT seen the last of him (well..8 months from now we won't).
