Sam & Betty on DP
They're reunited! :run: :fire: :P

Wow, long time no see. I'm glad I'm not watching.
haha!

I tend to tune out when Samantha Mohr is on.  I am just not feeling her presentation.  Betty Davis is great, however!

I did not even know people still liked Pokemon.  I liked it like 10, 11 years ago
Those are the days I still pay attention to. Present-day =  :footinmouth:
Present day Pokemon?  Or present-day in general?
Present day Pokémon.
Gotchya.  Didn't even know they still made Pokemon. Hmm..guess you learn something new everyday.

Ah, completely forgot about contracts.  Good point!  It might be an agreement that these personalities do this.  EVERY little thing the talent can/can't do is likely in the contract.

Questions, Comments, Suggestions / Re: Show Style Logos Return!

They look great!  I definitely like the PM Edition and Sunrise Weather logo (as in they are my favorite).  Just curious, have you thought of changing the YWT logo's color to maybe a darkish red/orange?  Or are you going to keep it yellow?

I agree on the excessive traveling of some OCM's, it seems rediculous.

It is beyond rediculous with Stephanie Abrams.  I rarely ever see her in the studio.  How do you expect to keep viewers if you have no stability (however, fill-ins such as Heather Tesch and Jen Carfagno are GREAT fill-ins)

Programming and Graphics / Re: YWT's New Opener/Graphics

Not a big fan of the new YWT opener/music.  Too dark for the morning, in my opinion.  I rarely get to watch YWT, so it doesn't really bother me that much.

My spring break was the week of March 15th.  I would have much rather had spring break Easter week.  But, it's all good

I don't want to go through all that pain and hassle, not eating certain foods

A) They're not that painful. People blow that WAY out of proportion. Just a few sensitive teeth here and there.
B) What do you mean that hassle? They just glue brackets on your teeth, put the wire in, and snap the brackets closed.
C) Not eating certain foods? My dental assistant lady said you can eat just about anything with braces if you just be careful (and if it's something like chips or pretzels, break it up into smaller pieces.)

As Aaron stated, it still sticks to your braces, but not as bad as the other gum.

Nope. And when it does stick to your teeth, you've gotten something ON your braces. If you chew sugarfree gum (although I was told these brackets are somewhat different than brackets before), you WILL be okay. And why would the gum get near your braces anyway? It's not like you'd roll the gum all over your brackets! <_<
I am just relaying what my orthodontist said.  I don't need you to contradict what he said.

I am sure things are much different than when I had braces.

Has anyone tried invisiline?

I've needed braces for years, but I've never got them, and don't plan to either. I don't want to go through all that pain and hassle, not eating certain foods, as well as spending so much money on them. I have more important things (college, etc) to spend it on. You know what they say, don't fix what ain't broke. :D

But, I'm pretty sure you CAN chew gum with braces on, as people I know who wear them tell me they can.
You CAN do anything you want with braces on.  It is highly recommended you do not.

Why do so many people these days need braces?
To straighten their teeth and fix over/under bites?
Yeah..exactly.

Why else would someone get braces?

Zach-- any particular reason why you have not chewed gum for 2 years?
Braces. :hmm:
Ahh, been there, done that (twice)  And I know someone mentioed sugarless gum.  As Aaron stated, it still sticks to your braces, but not as bad as the other gum.  I went a total of about 3 years with braces, and never chewed gum, which could be why I chew it all of the time now.  Who know.

I am an avid gum chewer.  I consider them my cigarettes.  I chew probably a total of 4 or 5 pieces a day (each lasting between an hour or two).  If I don't have gum, I either have a headache, or I am out. :P

My mom bought me 8 packs of gum for Christmas, and they are all gone as of last week.
