I love it, and I am really glad that it is not too complex.  It's funny, because they use a similar one on one of my local news stations, so I am used to the tabs on it.  But, I like it, because you can now know what your going to see next, I guess.

I am interested to see what it will look like for watches and warnings..

The First Outlook L3s, for now, are just the old ones with the logo stripped out.

Anyone notice that the "tab" on the new YWT L3s is a yellow version of the title bars used in the HD LF?

No .  haha.

Also, a side note..  During the beginning of the Travel segment at 10 after, all three anchors were looking at the wrong camera.  Must not be 100% used to it quite yet.  But, I've got to hand it to them, they are doing a wonderful job

The new maps must be hard to point at or something.  Heather seemed to be pointing at all the wrong places when she was presenting the forecast for "areas like Minneapolis, Chicago, and Indianapolis" at the beginning of YWT.  I don't know if she was actually pointing to them or what... but it was odd.

I AM AMAZED!

I turned on First Outlook, and saw the blue LDL at the bottum of the screen, and thought "cool".  Then I saw a new first outlook transition graphic, with the new logo.  I never did get to see the lower third though.  The new maps-- AMAZING.  The maps themselves are simple, and I am a sucker for simplicity.

Then, YWT starts.  I LOVE the new opener.  It's short, but as I just mentioned, simplicity is a plus for me.  And, I am SOOO happy that we are seeing SOLID FORECAST colors, instead of crappy animation!  And, the lower thirds don't take up the whole bottum of the screen, I kind of like it 

I got the butterfly feeling this morning before YWT came on   I'm going to miss Evening Edition tonight   I'm gonna have to catch it tomorrow, or EEWC.

Jennifer Lopez is still on Weekend Now this morning. It is worth noting that she is wearing the EXACT same outfit today as she wore back on September 28, 2007, her last day on PM Edition. Could that mean something?

For real?    Do you have that written down or something.

Jennifer is already gone.  He bio from weather dot com has been gone since the last time I looked (a few days ago).  Of course, I havn't noticed if she has been on TWC as of late.  She very well could still be there, but they just took it off now.  I am pretty sure she is already gone, since she starts her new job next week.

Any guesses on who will replace Kim?

They actually took her bio down weeks ago; she has appeared on-air since then.

I thought she started in Dallas June 15th...

I don't know about that one.  She is scheduled to be the weekday morning reporter, and June 15th is a Sunday.  Maybe they are going to put her on June 15th to get familiar with the place.  But June 15th sounds better than my June 5th..that I thought it was

I have 2 dogs.

A 4 year old boxer, named Brewster.  A 14 year old dog, Blac Jac.

I also have a fish, if that counts.  Well, it is my brothers.  He hasn't named it yet..

I like cats, but am allergic.  At one point, my grandma had 3.. it wasnt that fun going over there sneezing my head off..haha

I am guessing Alexandra is not far along at all.  Since she is basically a twig, she shows in a heartbeat.  I think it is actually ironic, because weren't we saying that a couple months ago, Alexandra Steele said she'd name her first child a certain name (can't quite remember).
I think it is funny, because I pretty much know when one of the TWC women are pregnant.  I always suspect it.  Except once Jen Carfagno came back, I suspected she was pregnant again.

I keep thinking that on some days, Betty Davis is pregnant again, but other days, it looks like a little guy.  It is actually kind of cute 

Steve, I was thinking the same thing on the "Evening Edition" curse, one who would be the replacement.  HMM..

If I get a job (could be this summer), I'll likely not work at a fast food place. I'd rather work somewhere like a supermarket or department store.

Mike- I told myself that i would NEVER work fast food.  I applied at 4 places other than fast food, and I ended up working in....fast food.

So, I finally took the job that my uncle offered me at a fast food restaurant.  Is it the best, no.  But, I am 9 months into it, and it would be stupid for me to leave.  I am getting paid really well, and am now a manager.
