I actually don't mind all that much for Weekend View, now that I watched it today.  They have a few different views.  At least no Dao.  But, I just expected a little more from the launch

TWC and your Cable Company / Interesting Situation..

So this morning, I turned on TWC.
The end.


No, kidding.  But, I turned to MTV, which is on channel 23, and TWC is 25, and noticed that it was out.  So, I went back to TWC on 25, it was on, and then to channel 24, then to channel 22, and TWC was on.
Turns out that on Channel 22 (which is my cable provider, Mediacom's, local channel) was showing the Ames LDL/Local forecast.  This is funny, because numerous times I go to channel 22, they are playing sports from Des Moines, and have a commercial for a TV station there.  So, the QC, and Des Moines I guess share that channel, but TWC was on that channel, and then my regular channel, 25.
I wonder why/how this is happening, and why I'm getting the Ames/Boone/Des Moines feed.

Also, what's interesting is, my TWC seems to be on like a 5 second delay to the Des Moines feed..

Did this make any sense at all?

I believe Adam called a tornado "cute" yesterday saying "The tornado caught on tape was beautiful, but some of them aren't always cute" (or something along the lines of that)

Crude oil back up to $145, and is projected to rise through next week.

And the week after that and the week after that.  I heard on either TODAY or Good Morning America one day, that gas prices are expected to keep on rising up until the November elections...

Adam works 5 days: Wed-Sun

All weekend OCMs work either Wed-Sun or Sat-Wed.

Even Ray Stagich, Mark Mancuso, and Alex Wallace? I thought they only work part-time.

They may be a part time OCM, but they may (MAY) work behind the scenes during the times they aren't on.

I paid for 10 dollars for between 2 and 3 gallons yesterday, and just over 16 dollars for a little under 4 gallons uggh.

Idk about you, but I don't like my tank going below 1/2, just because it seems like I spend less money if I fill up at 1/2   even though it would be the same..

I don't know, this may have been mentioned before.  But, It seems that some OCM's use the tv monitor on the sides of the video wall to point, instead of straight at the video wall.  I find it interesting.  I think it'd probably be best if they did look at the camera monitors, just because some of the pointing is way off scale haha.

Hmm, Al Roker on TWC, that'd be nice.  I'd watch haha.  Al Roker must be RICH RICH RICH.. doesn't he have a couple shows on Food Network, then he's got TODAY, and that new prime time Family Feud.  Sheesh.

Did they say exactly why he was in ATL yesterday?

I never realized how much I enjoy watching Kim Perez!!  She is a great personality and meteorologist.  I guess she was always on too early for me haha
