I stepped on a nail today, and it took a pretty good chunk of skin out of my foot.  Luckily I had a tetnis show about 3 years ago, and it is good for 10 years.
Ouch! That must've hurt like a ... (I'll let you fill in that word :P). Good to hear that you have an updated tetanus shot.
yea.... it did..haha.

I have to agree with Tyler. The entire internet can be dangerous if you don't use it properly. IMO, its just a matter of using common sense.

Exactly.  There's nothing more to it.

I think we need to send emails to TWC again. I don't see why we will just get one hour of Weather Center every weekday.
That's not going to work.  Having a couple dozen people send eMails is not going to do any good.  It would just be a waste of your time, unless "normal" (for lack of a better word) viewers are upset and decide to do the same.

Stephanie doesn't have to be married to have a baby  :whistling:

http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i39/sweaterfan/Steph%20August%202008/081208_4.jpg  This photo does look suspicious.  She could be.

I don't know if Jen is for sure pregnant.  I think Betty's just got a gut :P  But I like it.

I LOVED studio 1B...esp. the camera angle shots that incorporated both the large and side backdrops. Anyone remember those?
  Yes, I remember, and I also liked them.  For some reason, especially, I liked the Day Planner backdrop, the the side cloud backdrop

Whatever one they do Abrams and Bettes from with the map behind them.  I LOVE IT.  (which map one would that be?)  A close second would be the one where PM Edition is aired from.

I chose Hurricane Central   I LOVED that studio.  I also liked the winter backdrop that they used as well.

This is odd

I've got a Tornado Warning in effect, but at the same time there's a Flash Flood Warning, so the scroll shows the Flash Flood Warning (which is never a problem here on LI) right after the Tornado. Shouldn't they only be showing the tornado warning in terms of priorities?
Warnings are warnings.
Exactly.

What kills more per year, flooding, or tornadoes. ;)

Still, both are equally as important.  I didn't know that they showed multiple warnings up until a few weeks or so ago.

Advice: Keep your job during school.  I had a job the WHOLE year last year, having my first day on the job, on the first night of school.

MORE Advice:  Don't be a work-a-holic.  School should be first in all situations.  Tell your boss you don't want to work that much during the week (if you don't want to), and that you can work long shifts during breaks (trust me, having breaks really helps out in the MONEY dept ;)

Don't let the balancing of school and work overwhelm you.  I had that problem, but I was able to balance everything out.  There are plenty of people who have a job through their senior year.  I'd say just stay with it.

And if none of this works out for you, and you are TOO stressed out, then something needs to change.  Either you can't balance work or school, you have too many hours, or you can't handle/stand the job.  If that's the case, either get a cut in hours, or find a new job :P

I feel like a parent/guidance counselor :P
