Time to bring an old thread alive, as the elections are just over 2 months away.

Wanted to get some input on the VP candidates.

Do you think Joe Biden was a good choice for Obama, and that Sara Palin was a good choice for McCain?

Biden I think was an okay choice.  I would have gone with Hillary over Biden, as Hillary and Obama have (FOR THE MOST PART) the same stance on issues.  But, I guess Biden is good.  He's got the experience, and maybe that's what Obama needed, someone with more experience.

Now, Sara Palin.  Hadn't even heard of her until the day.  WTF was McCain thinking, asking a women, younger than Obama, less experience than Obama, to be on the Ticket.  OH YEAH... he wants to try to grab some of the Hillary supporters who want nothing to do wiht Obama.  I don't think this woman was a good choice...at all   I'm about to watch some of the Republican convention this week, and maybe my mind will change about Palin..

I know what you are going through, as I've gone through it several times, and I hate it.  But it does make you feel a little better that the person is no longer in pain .

I wish that Weekend Outlook and Weekend Now would get different music from eachother. It's pointless to have 2 shows with the same theme music.   

How is it pointless

I personally don't see a problem with it.

Yea, I'd assume they learned their lesson from The two (Alberto and Ernesto, iirc) last year.

But there is no doubt, especially if he goes by New Orleans, that there will be a storm alert.  Could be wrong, but it is a very good possibility.

I know I havn't seen Goswick in HD yet..

I've had thoughts in my mind of business management.  But, I think if I were to make a career out of managing anything, it'd be some time of news job, like a news director, or GM or something .

Anyways, for me, I mostly watch NBC News.

Just the National News (ABC, NBC, CBS)   (I never really thought of Fox, CNN, MSNBC..ect.

But, radio station are not included

Actually, I just started the process a few days ago once I got something from Iowa State.  Before I do anything, I am retaking the ACT sometime in September to better my score.

I'm stuck between 3 schools right now, and I am stuck on which one.  I will more than likely visit two of these schools sometime during the semester.

But, hopefully it will be easier than it sounds. haha

Ok ok ok..sorry for REALLY bumping and OLD thread. 

Throught the months I've read SEVERAL articles saying Katie Couric was going to leave her chair after the Inauguration (sorry for spelling).  Obviously, this reason was because of her poor (and I mean poor) ratings.  I just came across an article today saying that her and her executive producer are being a little more optimistic, as ratings in mid sized markets are up a couple hundred thousand.

I think that they need to bring the morning guy (Harry Smith, I believe?) to the evening, or bring Bob Shieffer back, and then have Katie go to the Early Show, if they want to have any chance at ratings in the morning, or the afternoon.

Speaking of mornings, I have a feeling Diane Sawyer's days at GMA are limited.  I know I've read several articles stating she isn't happy with the format of the show, and that she didn't get the evening anchor position.  But, seems like she's gone AT LEAST one day a week.  If she does leave, I probably won't view GMA anymore, unless someone OTHER THAN Chris Cuomo replace her.  I have never liked Chris.  I love Robin Roberts though,.

Well, that is that.  I guess this is a very big "bump".  Go ahead and give your thoughts too   lol.
