I'd say Ike.  However, I wouldn't be surprised if even Ike doesn't get retired.

I was up til about 3 AM CDT, and during the 2AM hour of their coverage, they went to Jorma Duran, and there was no audio.  After (Adam?) said, that they were having a few technical dificulties, Jorma looked pissed, it looked like he stomped off, and was yelling.  It was actually fun

I was also not aware of the attacks until I got home.  I got home, and my grandpa was watching Katie Couric, which was odd, because Katie at the time was on in the mornings. He explained what happened, and I was in awe.  I couldn't believe it.  The next day the school said they didn't tell us because they didn't want to worry us.  A month later I went to a new school, and they were telling me that they watched the news all day (this was 5th grade, btw).

It was very surprising to me that TWC went into Storm Alert last night.

I was watching some of CNN's coverage, and that's all they had..was IKE IKE IKE

People act like a hurricane has never hit them before:rolleyes:

My car blew a head gasket last Thursday, we got an estimate, and it would cost me 700 dollars to fix it.  Got a call today from the guy, and he said SOMETHING ELSE could be wrong.  I'm NOT about to pay more money to fix it.  I'm about ready to junk it and get a new car.

On the heals of that, I get my hours cut at work, wtf?  haha..oh well.  that's life.

My name is next on the list :D.  I remember Kyle back in 2002, it made landfall near my hometown in North Caroline (iirc).

Anyways, yeah, I'm not liking the path of Ike...at all.

I actually wasn't surprised to see ICHT.  Hannah isn't as strong anymore, so why preempt programming.

Ike will be interesting to watch now.

Anyone been watching the Republican debate?  I watched the last 10 or so minutes of McCain's speech last night.  I really liked what he had to say.  I was watching highlights on the news this morning, and he made only a few bashes toward Obama, and his OWN party.  I liked it.  I don't think Palin is as bad as I had originally thought.

Yeah I got home and turned TWC on, and saw the red bar for Hanna (on the information bar I suppose).  Rediculous.  And yes, very immature on TWC's part.  But, this video is VERY immature  (about tornado coverage locally)

Wow, they havn't even put the final advisory on Gustav yet?
That advisory that Mike posted on Gustav was from the HPC (Hydrometeorological Prediction Center) which basically release advisories after the National Hurricane Center stop releasing advisories.
Oh wow, I did not know that.  Very interesting..  Thanks.
