Here's an odd story.

I got home from school today (DEAD TIRED), so, I turned on TWC after I got home, and plopped on the couch, and started dozing off.  All of the sudden I just here "KYLE", and I wake up..nobody is there.  It was VIVIAN BROWN saying it on the TV (talking about Kyle being the next storm).  It was pretty ..interesting i guess

Damn, I was going to quote you saying that :P.. Oh well.

But yes, that is stupid.  So, only one hour of PM Edition AND Abrams and Bettes?
Only one hour of PM Edition Weekend. Meaning PME on weekdays will not change from it's 2 hour slot. ;)
Gotchya.

I think A&B should stay two hours.  That doesn't give Abrams and Betes much airtime at all.

WTF @ tonight's EE? They just started with a live opener with the bumper music, no teaser, then Alexandra says, "I'm Alexandra Steele, let's DIVE right into tonight's top stories."
The baby told her to.  (LAME JOKE)

Speaking of Alexandra.. she's do in about a month, correct?

OCMs & Personalities / Re: Jim Cantore leaving?
« on: September 20, 2008, 10:48:57 PM »
I doubt Cantore is leaving

But, if he was, it wouldn't be the end of the world, or at lest, it shouldn't be.  It'd just be the TV biz for ya.  People come (stay) and go.  He'll leave eventually.

General Discussion / Re: Favorite Radio Stations

I actually listen to the radio everyday.  I don't really want/had no intention to invest in an iPod, when I can listen to the music on the radio, and computer.

KBEA (Top 40 station) is my favorite radio station, that's about it

General Weather Chat / Re: Winter Predictions
« on: September 18, 2008, 07:50:59 AM »
I think it'll be a pretty bad winter.  As Gary had mentioned earlier in the thread, it's already chilly in many places.  Although I don't know how accurate the farmers almanac is, as I really don't pay much attention to them, but the are calling for a "Wild, Snowy, Cold winter" (give or take a couple words) for the midwest.

I actually don't mind winter, as long as I can handle driving in it.  Last winter was one of the snowiest winters I had seen in a few years, actually, one of the wildest.

We'll just have to see what happens, but I think it'll be a good winter (or bad..depending on your point-of-view :D)

Speaking of Kevin Robinson.

Heard over the PA system at school:

"Would Kevin Robinson report to the counceling center, Kevin Robinson to the counceling center"

Just thought I'd share that info with you all

There is an Alexandra Steele at my school, too.  (or maybe it's AlexandrIa... hmm)  somethin like that.

...back to Kevin, I think there is also a pro skater or something named Kevin Robinson.

I don't think they get paid OT, since I assume they are salary.  But, I could be wrong, or they could get a raise or whatever.

But, we don't know if Paul just had a cold after his coverage, or if it could be him talking too much. :dunno:

General Weather Chat / General Severe Weather
« on: September 14, 2008, 11:19:51 AM »
This is a topic to dicuss daily severe weather, the weather that doesn't really NEED it's own topic.

I want to discuss the rain that has hit the central part of the country.  My gosh, it's rained NONSTOP here since Friday.  (Okay, a few breaks)  But it's beginning to get rediculous.  In my grandmother's rain guage, she has measured 8.5" of rain since Friday.  She lives in a town called Milan.  I misplaced my cylinder for my weather center, so I couldn't tell youhow much has fallen here, but at the airport, which is right across the river from where I live, 6.5" has fallen, and continues to fall.  Today, it's the remnants of Ike.

Tell us about any severe weather you are expieriencing.

Dolly??  Wasn't Dolly just a storm, that caused basically no damage what-so-ever?  In fact, I don't even remember where it hit at.

Gustav.. nah.  I doubt Gustav will be retired.
Question..why do you think Dolly and Gustav should be retired? :dunno:
