Two things I don't like to see on this board... Espeically if they are combined:
1) Topic Titled: "I was bored", by Gil.
2) New Topic with attachement, by Gil.
It could really be anything, picture made in paint of a tree, picture of his cat on fire, something broken, anything!

The way you said that was all backwards... You made it sound like he is recording something with a video camera, then plugging the cameras output in to the cable box's input.
But I know what you mean, Cable box's video output in to the cameras input then put the cameras recording on the computer. I used to do that before I got my tuner, and it will work with a VCR, FYI.

It's easy pretty much all camcorders come with an S-video cable. Then since I'm sure he has a USB cable, he can transfer the recording here. As for images, I don't know what you mean by that.And why would he be inputting it in to the cable box?

Technically speaking, the hardware should be able to perform better... But the difference is that they were written in two different languages, one that is more graphically enabled then the other.
