Depends on several things. Given that its analog many things can impact this.

For example, working within' the cable station if I go to view our own signal, its even fuzzy. I think its just the technology.

Does Verizon carry CN8 and Comcast SportsNet, or is they exclusive to Comcast? I watch these two channels occasionally since some of my school's sport events are seen there. I never see them on ESPN.

That's like asking if Fox airs NBC commercials.

Is it true HD? Just looking at the signal compression I'm seeing it as a SD on channel 214? It`s also on a standard def. transponder...?

Can you tell me what satellite it`s on, I`m affraid my listings might not be up to date.

Press Options - 6 - 1 - 1 and it should say.

No, its still on basic up here... Across all of Ontario its still on basic. Rogers, which services most of Eastern Canada, has no plans on moving TWN to digital at the time.

I have a question about the satellite LF emergency feed (I hope somebody has an answer). Back last summer whenever they'd show the emergency feed for whatever reason, it would randomly flash black. From what I can tell it started sometime in June 2007 (my earliest video of it was on June 22nd) and continued through July or possibly August. Does anyone know when the flashing started or stopped or even what caused it?

I really wanted to see these in their true format, so I went in to work, and tried to watch these on a flippin $27,000 computer. They still arn't running very well.

Side note, when I watch these videos in Quick Time, or MPC I only see the 10 / 15 second promo, but if I import it in to Avid, I see commercials and station ID's and LOT8 openers!

From paying attention to both the live and recorded airings of EEWC tonight, it actually looks like the lower thirds on the recorded version are a scosh lower such that the letters almost touch the LDL. I guess that has something to do with the video playback shifting the video just a little bit farther down than the original broadcast.

Quite possibly, however the IMX decks have a 1 line shift rate, so its not much.
