For some reason, the cut of music that plays with the standalone A&B opener is really screwed up; it's like there are two tracks playing at once, making it sound horrible.
Thats exactly what it is, its a overlap between the two, have you noticed how on both EE & AB they have to fade between tracks (pre-edit segments with track, to live Audio Cart track)? It's hard to do without making it sound like crap. However TWC has been pulling it off very nicely.

After the EE opener, the whole screen went green for 3 or so seconds, then to the wide studio shot.

I just found out that the STAR team has an open position! It's listed on the careers site.
Ahh yes, the careers site.  Down the line (1+ year from now), I hope to take one of those spots.
Which dept?

Already did in 2003, not for the STAR Team, but as ENG / SNG.

About a minute ago, Mike Bettes' signal messed up and the picture froze on him, and shortly there after, you could hear Mike whispering "Jesus...". Sounds like he was a bit pissed off there. :P
Do you have any video?
Yeah - I've got it, I'll post it later on.

That video isn't really that squashed. Many of my 4000 emulator clips are like that.
Well, again, it was done the same way as the previous video, and it looked fine, but this one has the black bars on the top and the bottom.

Actually the video is at full screen for fast computers

Computer speed has absolutely nothing to do with it. ;)

That's correct.

Not to brag, but you all know what kind of quality clips I have on YouTube.. Example:

The exact same process I used to upload that video, I used here and look how its squashed, and how low quality it is, even if you click high quality...

I think YouTube did something to their video compressor / codec management.

The problem with alot of mobiles is they dont hear the cue when they are on, 9 times out of 10 the camera operator noticied the tally light go on, and they are pointing at a wall. That was problaly the case of that video.
