General Discussion / Re: Some jackass had enough nerve to rip my video!

Ryan is pretty cool about his songs on YouTube, not only are there TWC videos on there with his songs, but there are full versions of his songs posted that are totally un-related to TWC.. I don't think anyone's had an issue with Ryan... :)

And what does this show have to do with the weather?
Traveling across the country to locations that include New Orleans, the Las Vegas strip, Death Valley, the Great Smoky Mountains, and sandy Florida beaches, Mielcarz will examine how weather factors such as temperature, terrain, altitude, and humidity affect training efforts...

Well, I plan on getting a 8c a subscriber fee, and I've got a few companies helping out, plus I've been able to strike a few deals with TWC artists, so I think I'll be alright.. Don't worry, if I ever need money, this is the first place I'll come! :P

Mike, I've got about 20 different audio sources in here, what you heard was me bringing up my CD player on air, it wasnt actually part of the playlist. :)

Victor, it is still my intention to do such, I just have to work out the fees.

Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion
« on: September 07, 2008, 10:01:08 PM »
Ike is a what, a cat 3 hurricane now? Yeah - TWC is going to be covering it! TWC = The Weather Channel... Ike = Weather... Catch the point? It's their job to be covering this stuff, it's all they do, so when theres a cat 3 hurricane roaming the sea headed for the broadcast area, then yes, again, they will be covering it.

If it was CNN, and they were covering it 24/7 then yes, that would be called over hyping as CNN should be covering other things like news, where as TWC, is nothing but weather.

Come back and say that TWC spends all their time watching the tropics? As both Fay and Gustav were hitting the south, there were storms hitting the N/NE, and TWC was checking in with those storms and giving updates as nessisary as well as the tropics information.

Now the Hurricane Ike radar inset and graphics are here, along with the Ike LOT8's opener.
Should we start the Ike Hype thread?
I'm soooo sick of hearing you and TWC hyping!

They just had Dr. Forbes at the telestrator seat of the big desk while in the WWC configuration; that's something they've never done before.
I'm almost certain I've seen that before... Not sure when though.
