Local Forecast / Re: Current TWC issues

That's your cable box / the headends modulation of the channel, its not TWC or your IS. If you have a STB check the cabling going from the box to the wall. This happens to me when I knock the jack loose.

Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion

Haha I love that video... Especially the modded LDL with the scrolling WX conditions.... Since the title says Traffic flow, then changes to todays forecast, to the air quality screen. haha.

And Billy, the episode was on about 2 weeks ago too.

For example, this commercial that TWC produced:

Was used in a (I believe it was) Colgate toothpaste commercial.

What's even better than that is if TWC had a live Weatherscan feed of Atlanta playing nothing more but Trammell Starks.
Why the hell would TWC stream the local ATL WxScan nationally? Whats your logic behind that??

I'll be able to grab some Atlanta, Orlando, and Key Biscayne TWC / WxScan clips next week!

The trigger comes from master / NC , so it wouldn't be hard-coded in to the playback.

Maybe we'll see a Christmas LOT8's Flavor: 24/7! But it will be interesting to see what they do.

I'm always at home in the states for Christmas, I guess I wont be watching TWC christmas morning!

It's in the exact room the old studio used to be in, lol... they were lucky to fit 3 of the 4 HD cameras they have in there....

Any rate, myPHL News at 10 is also in HD 8-)
SD and HD cameras in studios are basically the same size...

I'd post my desktop, but I fear some people might get scared! My wallpaper is of David Hasselhoff!

Is he laying on the floor trying to eat a hamburger in a drunken stupor?  :rofl2: :rofl2:
Close... speedo :P (Not my doing, totally my fault for 1) leaving my laptop at work, and 2) leaving it logged in!

Back at McGill, a prof of mine attempted to take my phone, I just looked at him, gave a little "Ha!" looked back down and just kept texting :P But dont worry, it didn't affect my learning!

On that note, watch out for that high pressure hurricane to hit Kansas this week! I hear there might be some blowing freezing rain with wind speeds of up to 110 kPa!

Oh, I think I know!

Should Andy Cooper be replaced by a glass of coke with ice when he isnt live?

Well - TWN has offically launched its Winter Programming grid. We spent the past few days releasing the updates.

Overall PMX software changes
- Highway Conditions added, all other seasonal features removed.
- New dynamic forecast sponsorship tags. (Travel companies can now put live real-time destination temps on screen seamlessly)
- All logos (including standby screens) have been updated with the "20 years" logo(s).
- New 96 Hour precipitation forecast screen has been added, thus removing the "Coming up" screen at the end of the locals.
