Steve said Master can't use custom keys, I said they can; but then he corrected him self when he said that he meant that they don't not can't.

Also I left in late 2005 so I'm not too current with the happenin's at TWC right now.

BTW, Kyle, do you know exactly what happened when Master Controlled shows upgraded their production capabilities (which is also when they stopped using custom Live keys)? Is this when they moved into the new (HD capable) Master Control room that was mentioned in several articles?

I left in late 2005 so I am not too too current with what is happening or what has happend since then. Once I return back to Atl I will try to bring everyoneup to date with the happenings and exact workings of things.

Kyle, I think your misunderstanding. Your confusing can't with doesn't. It's not that they can't, its that they don't seem to. 

I caught what was meant from that sentence later on down the road lol, but he did say

They've now switched over to the normal PME Live tag now.

BTW, AFAIK, master control can't use customized Live tags.

Sigh, yes Master can, they all come from a frame sync which can be frozen with ANY key.

It depends whether or not the network upconverts their programming. For example, TWC upconverts all of their studio programming; even though it's not true HD, the picture clarity is still amazing.

You also have to think about the acual pixel, 4:3 and 16:9 refer to the actual pixel size as well. There is a pixel difference between a LCD and HDTV LCD screen.

Wow, I wasn't expecting this... They just used a normal Local On The 8s opener. The one with the guy walking on the beach at sunrise/sunset. I don't think I've seen that opener since last July. 

I think we saw it in August, before the Network Control disaster on the... 15th?

TWN is bigger, cozier and less congested than TWC

TWN only has about 300 employees, that may be why it looks small.. TWC has more people but its spread out..

I have no clue. Most of us use tuners, not camera, to capture video.

I have a bike hooked up to an alternator aside my tuner, when ever I want to capture something; I have to bike reallllly fast!
