89° Nothing really on Radar except a few splash and dash storms, look closely and you can see the outflow and seebreeze from some storms that fell apart earlier.

Someone should tell them about this entire forum, they'd get a hoot out of it. :P
A few TWC employees already know about us, including Adam Berg.
Ha! I wish all of them would read it! It would suck though for the OCM's that we say bad things about though, lol.  :bleh:

I like it! TWC should use that one, I've always thought that purple fit the show better than blue.

Made the TWC 2009 titlebar in black colors for my GR3. I think it looks pretty cool in black.
Below that is a graphic displaying the low temperatures.

Around 97°. Smoke has finally reached my neighborhood outside Moncks Corner. Its so thick you could cut it with a knife! Good news is I think we have an okay chance for rain tonight, I can see some cumulus congestus going up to the south west.

While watching You Weather Today this morning, I thought to myself that I actually like some of the things they've done--like a short business segment, some news, and top weather stories like the fires in Arizona. Sure I do miss the old TWC some when it was just all about weather, but time goes on and things change. They need to keep up with the "hip" new technology and all that. Like Patrick said, it's just a fact of life now that NBC has different ideas of how to run the channel, but I'm still going to be open to their changes.
I actually like the ideas of the short news segments in the morning. It keeps me from having to watch something else and its kinda like a "one stop shop" for whats happening now in the morning. The only thing I don't like is that the commercials are too long and that is space where weather coverage could be. IMO, things have gotten somewhat better over time since they initially introduced this new way of doing things.

There is a such thing as "dual feed".
Evan has notified me that its not being deployed.. thats lovely <_<
How does this dual feed work?

93° Hazy/Smoke
The pic below is of the smoke we're getting here from the wildfires down in SE GA. Notice you can't see the other side of the bridge. Also, Monday afternoon we had a wildfire breakout about 2miles from my house in the woods, its bone dry. Had a brief drizzle today, then like poof the cloud dissipated. I want some t-storms badly, send me some midwest! lol

They're doing something to the global forecast center. You could hear a lot of hammering and drilling earlier when Carl Parker was at the expert desk. Wonder if they're redoing the whole thing or just building a new small area for the expert desk?
Well, It is the offices where all of the meteorologists work, and its been like that since at least the late 90's or early 2000's (was young, did watch). I can imagine after all of this time they're renovating the entire thing. I really want to see how it looks!
Actually, it hasnt always been that way. They moved buildings ca. 1997
Oh, well I didn't watch way back then, so I wasn't sure.

Who is this? This was from a forecast vid on weather.com. His first name is Mark, but I couldn't hear the last name.
His name is Mark Thibodeau
Thanks. Supposedly, he's a radio meteorologist.
Yeah, He does an okay job with the videos, but I'm sure he does much better with radio. He and some of the other meteorologists are the ones that do a lot of the daily videos (like 50) for weather.com and other news networks.
