Needed for my website.... Keep in mind t-storm graphic is a demo, not an actual forecast.

Ok, so Jim started off Weather Center tonight, and around 5:01 or so I noticed there's a new blue-ish glassed in area behind him over his left shoulder (viewer's right). What is it?They started at 5PM Eastern?
Double post, and I need some input on this. We're remodeling our website, and we have several new features. We're opening several specialty offices for the tropics, severe weather, and hydrology. In addition, we're going to form several local offices. We already have three: Charleston, Grand Forks, and Chattanooga. This also will be good practice for those who want to go into the meteorology field testing your skills at forecasting... We both have several fans on Facebook that even after termination still come to us for weather information and we feel like we just left them hanging... So we're going to continue this service and would love to get to know you all and work together to forecast to our best abilities. We also need graphical outlooks done, so anyone with those talents are needed as well as those who can write text based outlooks... Some being technical. Thanks! Join us?
Here's the thing: we don't want to be the only ones operating the site. We'd like to have other people interested in weather helping operating the specialty offices. If someone wants to open a local office, they can do so at no cost. So, please reply to this if you're interested. The site is still in the works, but we'll release it by mid-September.
Officially been in college a week, and I couldn't enjoy it more. Great classes, food that is out of this world (and that isn't an exaggeration), and my suite mates are awesome (yes, I have three roommates). And the TSA finally cleared me to fly, so I start those lessons tomorrow.Send me some snow? You'll have a great year I'm sure...
Grand Forks is an incredible city. It has about 50,000 people, but it has the feel of a small southern town. And everyone is so hospitable and friendly! The weather is awesome, too, but that'll change come November. Or maybe earlier than that; I see there is a Winter Weather Advisory in Montana for 1-3 inches of snow above 6500 feet.
Wishing everyone else starting college (or resuming), or just school in general a great and successful year!
LDL is officially back to blue as of 8 PM ET.Now the blue one feels werid after a week of Red!
