Just as long as you're not learning to drive in TEXAS...ugh. I find it extremely hilarous that the "Welcome to Texas" road signs have writing underneath that say "Drive Friendly, the Texas Way." Well, if we all drove the "Texas way," we would probably never want to get in another vehicle again. Where do I begin? Slow drivers in left lanes, lack of turn signals, etc...

And as far as traffic goes, well, let's just say that in Dallas a new interchange was being built a few years ago to relieve congestion. The product? WORSE traffic!!! The roads and the drivers in Texas has a lot to be desired.

At least when you get out in the middle of nowhere in Texas, you get to legally go 80 on the interstate. In South Carolina, I can only go 70. At least in North Dakota, it's 75.
Everyone goes 80 on our interstates in SC...  <_< Nonsense!

I wonder why TWC doesn't use TruVu Max Traffic at least every once in a while?

I'm pretty sure Traffic isn't a part of Max. On WSI's website, its a different product... not even named Max Traffic. They probably didn't invest in it.

Not really sure where you're seeing that...? It's right here.

Haha, sorry. Was looking at the other pages. Max Traffic is a new product? Looks nice...

Agreed. Most common vehicle/method for cheating.

In my classroom, everyone but me and two others cheat. They'll blatantly ask for answers really loud and make it out like we asked them. We always get in trouble. I gave up a long, long time ago trying to get good grades because of their bullcrap.
That's no reason to give up on getting good grades. There is always something you can do. I had the same problem, just take the test's in that hall...

I have 2 version of the banner....Which one do you think is the best?
I think the first looks the best. BTW, where did you find the CBS background? I'd like to find one to complete one of my projects. Would you mind sending it to me?

Seeing that the Greenland Block setup is likely again this year, I'd give it Late December and into January... We had several snow events this past year with the same setup, sticking and accumulating several times.

Wow, some of these policies are tense... At my school its relaxed really. Only the new teachers really enforce the rules as they're supposed to be. Most of my teachers have a tardy log that you sign, and at the end of the week its just entered in the computer as a tardy. If they did it as supposed to, they're to give you a detention, then a administrative referral. That referral results in either an ISS or OSS depending on what you've already done. Rarely do teachers assign after school detentions, but when they are given, its usually on a Friday afternoon or before school...

Cloudy and calm, temperature around 60, apparently with scattered funnel clouds. Anyone else see a Special Weather Statement like this?

Quote
...FUNNEL CLOUDS OVER GRAND FORKS...

SPOTTERS AND NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PERSONNEL REPORT A FUNNEL
CLOUD OVER THE CITY OF GRAND FORKS. THIS IS ASSOCIATED WITH A
SHOWER THAT IS NEAR THE CITY. AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
IS NEARBY AND THERE IS THREAT FOR ADDITIONAL FUNNELS THROUGH LATE
AFTERNOON.

THESE TYPES OF FUNNELS ASSOCIATED WITH UPPER LOWS OFTEN DO NOT
TOUCHDOWN. BUT THEY WILL BE WATCHED AS THEY CAN ON RARE
CIRCUMSTANCES TOUCHDOWN BRIEFLY.
uh... That's a new one to me...
