That looks amazing! I was sleeping with TWCO on in the background and heard "We're on our new expert center desk tonight" and thought I was dreaming! Nice to see it was true.

34° brrr. I stepped out the door earlier and the cold just pooled in. My lower half was frozen before I had time to think!

Go to the link above, I have uploaded a "beta" animation video, if you will. I appologize for the low quality, powerpoint does not allow for exports higher than ~1200x700.

Hi guys! We've established a page on our website for the IS2HD project, includes some screen shots. Check it out!

Just one screenshot? :(

I frown because it's so impressive! Would love to see more, if possible.

I'll have much more up soon. Lately I've been working on it and trying to correct things. Thanks for your interests!

Hurricane Central / Re: Tropical Storm Sean
« on: November 10, 2011, 10:11:45 PM »
Unless you're in Bermuda...how is that even possible? Sean is nowhere near Bay Shore.
If you looked at the IR satellite earlier today, there was a band of moisture from Sean stretching all the way up into New England. The local meteorologists here even said that parts of LI will see some moisture from Sean. If you were to look at the IR satellite now, the band of moisture has dissipated and formed a new area of low pressure. Trust me, I wouldn't say that for nothing!
You may have had moisture pulled in from Sean, but there is no way those showers are directly from the system.

Hi guys, we've posted here before about forecasting for our organization and have had very few to respond. Forecaster might not have been the term needed to describe every job we need, and one of those not listed was graphics producer. I need one if not several slots filled in the Graphics department and if you have time to devote to us, please contact me on this forum via Private messaging or you may email me. In addition, we do need forecasters for our various offices, anyone with time and meteorological knowledge may work with us. Please, if you have any questions, get with me and I'll see that they are answered. Thanks, Don.

General Discussion / Re: 5.6m Oklahoma Earthquake
« on: November 06, 2011, 01:51:28 PM »
Wow this is a major shock to me (no pun intended). I live within miles of the "Fault" here near Charleston, SC  and with all of these earthquakes going on I'm hoping we don't get one, we're way over due. I hope anyone in the Quake was okay, I have yet to see any damage as I just got in.

Programming and Graphics / Re: Updated Graphics

Those new title bars certainly look like ones that would be used on a news station.  Which, there's nothing wrong with that of course, and it's understandable, but it does make TWC seem like it's lost some of its originality. :hmm:
TWC's graphics used to be original, but now they just seem "Generic". Didn't they loose a graphics director or something a year ago?
